DAY 1 \u2013 ARRIVAL\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>

Arrive in Uganda and transfer to Mestil Hotel for a stay as you wait for the next day when you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park.<\/p>

DAY 2 \u2013 TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NP<\/b><\/p>

After breakfast your guide will pick you up and depart for Kibale Forest NP for your gorilla trekking and Chimpanzee safari<\/p>

Take a scenic drive through rolling hills dotted with tea estates to Kibale National Park, one of the most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. Known for its 300 bird species and population of chimpanzees, Kibale is home to 11 primate species. You may also spot mangabeys and a vast array of butterflies. Arrive at your lodge amid Lake Kyaninga and the Mountains of the Moon<\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

DAY 3 \u2013 KIBALE NATIONAL PARK\/ INTO THE FOREST<\/b><\/p>

Rise early this morning and make the short drive to the start of your chimpanzee trek. The chimpanzees feed high in the trees, so binoculars are a must. Barks of baboons occasionally pierce the forest silence as you make your way along the trail. Take a guided walk in the wildlife-rich Bigodi Forest swamp, an excellent chance to view birds, sitatunga, mongooses, bush pigs, otters and bushbucks.<\/p>

DAY 4 \u2013 BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK<\/b><\/p>

You will enjoy morning breakfast and set off for Bwindi forest the home of gorillas driving through Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National park famous for tree climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi with lunch en-route arriving in the afternoon<\/p>

DAY 5 \u2013 BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL\/ GORILLA ENCOUNTERS<\/b><\/p>

Have early morning breakfast, head to the park office headquarters with packed lunch for a vital briefing prior to trekking the gorillas\u00a0in the thick impenetrable forests. You get to spend an hour with the gorillas after having trekked for about 5-8 hours.<\/p>

Return to the lodge with time to relax, or set out on another guided forest hike.<\/p>

DAY 6: FLY TO TANZANIA<\/b><\/p>

Enjoy morning breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with lunch en-route in Mbarara town. Drop off at Entebbe airport for your flight to Serengeti Tanzania.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Fly Auric Air Entebbe\/Serengeti via Mwanza for immigration registration and later continue to Kogatende.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The name Tanzania conjures up images of wildebeest stampeding across vast savannah, rain forests teeming with monkeys and birdlife, and Great Plains brimming with legions of game. All of these natural wonders and more are on offer in this exceptionally diverse African nation. Visitors typically visit Tanzania to partake in at least one of the four well known Tanzanian tourist experiences: a relaxing seaside vacation on the picturesque island paradise of Zanzibar, an underwater tour of some of the world\u2019s most renowned dive sites around the gorgeous Spice Islands, a safari adventure in some of Africa\u2019s most impressive game reserves, or a hiking excursion around Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. Whichever of these incredible holidays you choose, you will undoubtedly be welcomed by some fabulously friendly and peaceful inhabitants who, despite being divided into 120 different ethnic groups and cultures, live in harmony with one another and provide some of the most wonderfully exotic local cuisine you could imagine. On arrival meet our guide for your Northern Serengeti Safari. Dominated by the Mara River, full of crocs & hippos, this area is great for lion prides as well as big herds of buffalo, elephant, cheetah as well as leopard in the many kopjes that make this landscape so distinctive.<\/p>

After the rains, the short grass plains in this area attract concentrations of plains game from Kenya’s Maasai Mara to rival even the southern Serengeti at times – and with them, a great chance of seeing lion, hyena & cheetah.<\/p>

DAY 6, 7 & 8 \u2013 SERENGETI NORTH<\/strong><\/p>

Spend 3 nights at Lemala Mara River Camp<\/p>

Lemala Mara is a seasonal camp that moves twice in the year – Lemala Mara spends June through October in the northern Serengeti by the Mara River, before closing for two weeks in November and then re-opens as Lemala Ndutu in the southern Ndutu plains from December through March..<\/p>

Lemala Mara-Ndutu is a good quality semi-permanent tented camp. Staying here will give you excellent access to the area of the Serengeti where the wildebeest migration should be at that time. The camp is comfortable, stylish and well run by friendly staff – and the communal dining aspect lends it a real bush-camp feel.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

For your Serengeti hot-air balloon trip, you will be collected around 0500 hours. An hour predawn drive through the bush to your launch site is a delight in itself. You may see nocturnal animals in the headlights that you could not have encountered any other way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In the cool early morning, a light-weight long-sleeved jacket and long trousers are a wise idea, with sturdy shoes. Remember to take your binoculars and DSLR camera to make the most of this highlight of your Serengeti excursion. The huge balloon inflates swaying impatiently as it lifts<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Drive with picnic lunch with an opportunity to visit camps and lodges towards Central Serengeti then to Naona Moru Camp. You will stay here for 1 night. It is highly assumed that by this time there are still a lot of animals around. It is a phenomenon to live in your hearts and minds a lifetime.<\/p>

Located on an elevated viewing point beside the famous Moru Kopjes, Naona Moru Camp allows game drives to explore the resident and migratory wild game all year round. The landscape pans from the great southern plains of the Serengeti into the central hub of the most famous national park in Africa, close to Seronera Airstrip. The tented suites cater for small group of friends and even families with large tents to place bedding for two adults and up to three children.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Day 10 & 11: NGORONGORO CRATER\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro, en-route visiting Oldupai Gorge, a river canyon cutting 300 ft. into the volcanic Serengeti plains, once home to our earliest ancestors. Their remains can still be found nestling in the exposed soils. The Oldupai Gorge aka \u201cTHE CRADLE OF MAN KIND\u201d was made famous by Louis and Mary Leakey. Continue with your safari and check in at Lemala Ngorongoro Camp.<\/p>

Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp\u00a0is located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the quiet, eastern side of the crater rim, a short drive past the Lemala Gate. Set in a grove of red-thorn acacia trees, the camp has more of a bush feel than many camps in this area of Tanzania, with plenty of birdlife and frequent visits by buffalo and elephant at night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Lemala Ngorongoro has very easy access to the crater floor; it’s close to the ‘Sopa’ descent road on the eastern side of the crater and is actually\u00a0inside\u00a0the park gate. This makes it very convenient for getting into the crater as early as possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp has 9 spacious tents that are positioned carefully to provide privacy and with minimal impact on the pristine forest\u00a0environment. They accommodate two queen-size beds, and as it can get cool on the Ngorongoro Crater rim at night, little luxuries like warm winter-weight duvets, hot water bottles and gas heaters ensure a cosy night’s sleep. The roomy en-suite bathrooms contain a dressing area, flush toilet and a large safari-style shower.<\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

Day 12 & 13: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

After breakfast we depart for the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania\u2019s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals \u2013 the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After a picnic lunch we do an afternoon game drive.<\/p>

Dinner and overnight at Lolkisale Camp for 2 nights.<\/p>

Lolkisale Camp is situated right in the heart of the park, on the edge of an open wetland. Here, you\u2019ll have the unique experience of watching the drama of nature unfold while sipping a coffee or wine on your front porch. In these wetlands, the view changes each day as different herds pass by in search of water, and after them, the big cats that inevitably follow.<\/p>

And, since this camp is so well situated within the park, your adventure begins at first light. There\u2019s no waiting at the gate to get in.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
